Our purple seamoss is hand picked by a small team of local Jamaican divers. What makes our purple seamoss superior? In short, some sea moss is harvested from sea beds free floating, while others are harvested from the rocks. Harvesting from the ocean rocks and coral reefs ensures the sea moss houses a higher nutritional profile. It is attached to the mineral rock and only pulled once its reached maturity. This sea moss is not easy to come by and we wait months at a time for the perfect harvest. 

How to make seamoss gel: 

Step 1: Rinse and  thoroughly clean & remove all the sea debris

Step 2: Soak in alkaline water with key lime for 3 hours. 

Step 3: Drain and rinse a few more times.

Step 4 : Add seamoss and fresh boiling water to blender ( only a 1/4 of water) 

Step 5: Pour into a glass jar and cover.

Step 6: Put in refrigerator and let it "gel up"

Your seamoss gel will be fresh for 3-4 weeks.
